My story

Since puberty, I struggled with my weight, my self-esteem, and my relationship with food. For over ten years I tried everything — yo-yo dieting, over-exercising, under-eating, binge eating, skipping meals, counting calories, no carbs, high protein, diet pills. I had tried it all.

And for a while, I gave up. I told myself my body was just where it was supposed to be.

“I didn’t need another plan. I needed to understand my own body.”

But then something shifted. Friends and family started asking what I was doing differently. I realised I’d quietly figured something out — not through restriction, but through understanding how my unique body worked. I stopped dieting. I started fuelling. I moved in ways I actually enjoyed. And I lost 50 lbs.

Then life happened — pregnancies, stress, the chaos of raising four kids. The weight came back. And I had to do it all over again. That second journey is what made me a better coach. Because I know it’s not about finding the perfect plan once. It’s about building habits that hold through real life.
